COVID 19 ANNOUNCEMENT & UPDATES
From August 2020 we are pleased to be able to offer a limited number of services in our church buildings. Please follow this link to our services page for more information.
We are delighted to be able to say that we will be in a position to re-open our churches for personal and private prayer from next Saturday (4th July). The churches will be opening, in the first instance, as follows:
Sunday afternoons 2-4 pm
Saturday afternoons from 2 pm until later afternoon (but as a minimum until 4 pm)
Wednesday afternoons from 2 pm until later afternoon (but as a minimum until 4 pm)
You will be asked to observe hygiene and social distancing measures, and do bear in mind that if you are classed as shielded, you are not currently
advised to attend places of worship. If you are classed as vulnerable you may want to consider if you feel comfortable doing so. Please do bring any Bible or prayer book that you might wish to use with you as these are not available. Toilet facilities are also closed.
The pandemic is far from over, but it will be good to see the church building open again given that it is a source of comfort and strength for many as well as a marker and place of pilgrimage for others. Equally, it is also important that no-one feels they should or ought to visit. It's perhaps
important to remember that special words, a special place, special objects or special people are not essential (even if sometimes helpful) if we would like to talk to or listen to God. He loves us and he listens and speaks wherever we are.
